In this presentation and discussion, Diane, Nicole and Joline will be talking about choosing the right school path, at the right stage of development of your child, including:

• The different education paths available in Switzerland and where they lead to.
• The important key stages during school (when should a transition be considered and how and when to prepare for that)
• The Swiss Gymnasium and it’s very special Swiss Diploma “Matura”:  content, obstacles, preparation and where does it lead to etc.
• Alternatives
• A rough overview of the international diplomas available in Switzerland – IB, AP, A-Levels and their specialties and where these lead to.
• Highlighting differences between the learning approach and values of each system as well as the qualifications. When is a change possible, can or should be planned.
• Key Questions parents (and children!) should consider
